There was no time for my placement exam at the school so they tossed me into an advanced class starting to learn the subjunctive tense. I spent the afternoon and evening trying to catch up on new past, future, progressive, and perfect tenses. I´m clearly the worst student in the class but I think I´ll catch up.
I also bought a SIM card so now I have a local Mexican number for texting and calling. My Spanish was barely adequate for the transaction, but I made it. I even managed to (I think) turn off my voicemail and change the voice menus from Spanish to English (por ingles marque el numero 2).
Finally, at dinner I met some of Carolina´s family, her brother, Luis, and her son Jonathan. Carolina made pupusas, a Guatemalan dish from scratch, which was pretty cool. She´s awesome about speaking Spanishwith me and being patient.

The big news in Cleveland is that Progressive just signed a 16 year deal renaming Jacob's Field to Progressive Field. See what you're missing! Oh, and no snow- for over a week ; )
