Well, I made it but it was a long day...very long. I got in at 5 AM and promptly lost $8 US in a vending machine.
But I did make it. Took the bus to the metro to my school. School was good. My class is a little easier than I would like, but we shall see.
I met another student, Eve from Austria and we went together to buy SIMS which took a while but was successful and involved lots of Chilean Spanish. Turns out it's hard to speak even after month in Mexico.
I also ran all over town and saw 3 apts to rent. I need to pick one tomorrow and move in. Tonight I'm staying with Gabriel y Juan Carlos who are in the photo with me above. They are awesome and super nice. I found their place through www.couchsurfing.com a website I highly recommend. We had dinner and met a couple of their friends, Daniel and Julio. Daniel gave me a ride to the last apartment I checked out and then I bought metro card and rode back to fall fast asleep.
Super tired. Don'tnow how I'll get homework done in the morning. Homesick bbut thinking it will pass in a few days
