I've decided that the first two days in a new country are always difficult, but two days isn't bad. I was pretty tired on Monday after flying all night and arriving in Chile at 5AM. Then I spent all day searching for an apartment and running errands. But now I'm feeling much better.
I'm settled in my apartment with roomates that I like and tonight we are having crepes to celebrate Fat Tuesday. Plus, my apartment is great. It's on the 20th story, close to a metro station, and walking distance to my school. It has a great view of the city and the Andes. You can see both in the photos I took tonight from the apartment.

Ahhhh...memories. =)
What part of town are you staying in?
I'm inbetween Manuel Montt and Pedro de Valdivia on Avenida Providencia. It is on the red line, line 1. I think you lived west of here?
Hi love - the city looks amazing. Glad to hear (and see) it's going well. Can't wait to hear more experiences.
ps. vending machines are like illiterate taxi drivers, no?
